Ruth is a highly accomplished screen and stage actress from Dublin.  Her film work includes Grabbers for which she won an IFTA for best actress, In Her Skin for which she won best actress at the Milan International Film Awards, The Sea, Alarm, Pursuit and the forthcoming Holidays.

Her TV work includes Humans (Channel 4 & AMC), Love/Hate (RTE) best actress IFTA nominee, Primeval (ITV), Plus One (Channel 4), Titanic (ITV), Rasaí na Gaillimhe (TG4), Sinners (BBC), Stardust (RTE) best supporting actress IFTA winner, and the forthcoming Rebellion (RTE)

Her theatre work includes Buddleia  (Passion Machine Theatre Co.) , The Playboy of the Western World (Abbey Theatre) and Sive (Druid Theatre Company).
