Bio
Tara trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Gaiety School of Acting . A fluent Irish speaker, she has voiced many cartoons for Abú Media and Telegael. She has been nominated for an IFTA and the Bingham Ray New Talent award for the feature A Nightingale Falling. She played the role of Susan Venables in the Oscar nominated short ‘Detainment’ and Emmeline Pankhurst in the BAFTA winning ‘Suffragettes with Lucy Worsley’. Other television includes: Jack Taylor, Holby City, The Last Days of Anne Boleyn, The Tudors, Murdair Mhaum Trasna. Theatre includes work with The Donmar Warehouse London, Derry Playhouse, An Taibhdhearc, Macnas, Branar, Druid and The Lyric Theatre. Tara has worked with many brands and companies including; Gas Networks Ireland, Sky, NCSE, TG4 and Galway County Council and many more.
